Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort is seeking an AV technician to handle setup, operation and maintenance of audio/video for groups, conventions, banquets and events. You will mix live sound for bands, coordinate AV needs across rooms, and ensure smooth tech support for presenters and guests.

Must be 18+, with 1 year of live sound experience and solid PC/AV troubleshooting skills. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts, with strict adherence to regulations

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 1-year experience running live sound.
• Familiarity with PC hardware and software platforms.
• Understanding of installation and troubleshooting for AV gear.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and computer literate.
• Able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Completes setup and operation of Audio/Video for events at Angel of the Winds casino.
• Acts as audio mix engineer for live bands and events, including setup, mixing, and teardown.
• Schedules AV needs for meeting, conference and banquet spaces.
• Liaises between performers and staff.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on AV equipment.
• Coordinates with trainers to ensure AV coverage for lesson plans.
• Ensures technology availability for guest and presenter needs.
• Supports digital signage, media players, and networked AV systems.
• Installs AV hardware such as TVs, mounts, speakers and cabling.
• Provides AV support through the ticketing system with proper documentation.
• May train users in startup and basic use of AV equipment.
• Attends mandatory department and casino trainings.
• Complies with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
• May assist other staff as needed.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
