Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent for multifamily construction projects across the Southeast and beyond. You will assist with daily operations, manage project staff and subcontractors, coordinate safety, planning, scheduling, and problem-solving to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have exterior and hardscape experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel full-time to sites for extended periods (1–2 years).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily construction experience in NEW construction (not rehab/remodel).
• Degree in Construction/Business Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors on production schedules and deliverables.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety plans and project specifications.
• Coordinate project activities with Company personnel.
• Review status reports, shop drawings, and modifications for schedules.
• Provide technical advice and resolve problems with project personnel.
• Assist with overall project direction, coordination, and evaluation including safety, budget, scheduling, equipment management, quality and risk.
• Review and submit works and change orders to superintendent.
• Attend and direct project status meetings; assist in problem solving.
• Travel full-time to various project locations.
