Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an Entry Engineer for Critical Facilities-Data Centers in TX. You will support project engineering tasks, liaise with architects and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with contract documents, schedule and budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus two years' related experience, and strong communication and technical skills. On-site work at the data center site is expected with BIM/LEAN familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years' related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Reads and interprets contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors and Turner staff to resolve plan/spec issues.
• Oversee and interpret contract drawings and subcontract information; ensure drawings relate to the estimate.
• Manage the project budget and supervise project staff.
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings and change orders; resolve conflicts and obtain approvals.
• Oversee close-out; prepare RFIs, warranties, as-builts and manuals.
• Schedule and run subcontractor coordination meetings and reviews.
