Job summary

Clean Harbors in Allentown, PA is seeking a Traveling Field Services Technician II to join our safety-conscious team. This role will perform tasks related to hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

This is a travel-heavy role (60-80%) across the United States. The position requires attendance at a two-week training academy; travel expenses are paid by the company and per diem is provided.

Qualifications

• Asbestos certifications preferred.
• Experience in asbestos abatement and/or mold remediation.
• Strong understanding of asbestos abatement procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and power tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions across sites.
• Follow regulatory compliance and safety guidelines.
