Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking Traveling Wind Field Service Technicians to turn adventure into a career, with 3 weeks on and 1 week off, traveling to service wind turbines across the U.S. You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate, daily per diem, and overtime pay while on the road.

Role involves maintenance on wind generators, bearing replacement, and up-tower testing, with safety and quality as a core focus. A mechanical background and willingness to travel extensively are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of driving experience and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends, with a 3 weeks on / 1 week off schedule.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on wind generators, such as bearing replacements.
• Conduct up-tower winding repairs and on-site machining tasks.
• Demonstrate safety, integrity, and quality in all activities.
• Assist in disassembly and installation of motors and generators on-site.
• Lift and secure heavy objects and operate tools safely.
• Troubleshoot and document turbine performance and issues.
