NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Wind Field Service Technician III (Travel) based out of Grand Island, NE. You will be the frontline for safe and optimal wind farm operations, focusing on field maintenance, diagnostics, and long-term reliability.

This role requires four weeks of travel and one week at home, with duties spanning safety compliance, lean projects, and team development. Travel-heavy duties include wind turbine maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and

Formación

• High School Grad / GED is required.
• 0+ years of experience is acceptable.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) required.
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval required.

Responsabilidades

• Travels extensively with little or no notice within the company fleet.
• Performs maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Performs electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling.
• Completes Safety Mentor training within 6 months of hire.
• Completes Wind Field Service Technician III training within first year.
