Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Wind Technician III for the Horse Hollow/Wingate, TX site. You will join the world-leading wind energy platform and focus on safe field maintenance and diagnostics to ensure turbine availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Experience: 0+ years.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval required.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Applies basic understanding of technical and process functions.
• Manages own training schedules and completes required training on time.
• Able to meet attendance requirements.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
