American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a 13-week acute care travel assignment in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Must have 2+ years of ultrasound experience with RDMS and RVT, BLS, and a license if applicable. Work in a single 10-hour shift, Monday through Friday, totaling about 50 hours per pay period, with no weekends or on-call. This role offers high pay, housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
• RDMS and RVT certification required.
• Active license if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Acute care setting within Radiology ultrasound unit.
• Single scanner room with no floating to other departments.
• Performs general, OB, and minimal vascular studies (leg DVT studies and carotids).
• Average of 10 scans per day.
• Uses Siemens ACUSON S2000 equipment.
• Charting in Cerner, Syngo Workflow, and Sectra PACS.
• Schedule 50 hours per pay period with 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM).
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.
• No IV starts required; no RRAs used in department.
• Department-specific orientation totaling 8 hours.

Requirements

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to adhere to a high volume of scheduled and add-on patients

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Radiology department's Ultrasound Tech unit
• Single scanner room with no floating to other departments required
• Performs general, OB, and minimal vascular studies (leg DVT studies and carotids)
• Average of 10 scans/studies per day
• Uses Siemens ACUSON S2000 equipment
• Charting via Cerner, Syngo Workflow, and Sectra PACS
• Schedule alternates between 3 days one week and 2 days the next, totaling 50 hours per pay period
• 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• No IV starts required for this role
• No radiologist in-house and no Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) used in this department
• Department-specific orientation provided for Radiology, totaling 8 hours
• Scrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months and require hospital approval to return
• Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
