Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and RDMS/RVT certification for a multi-site imaging department. The role requires license if applicable and proficiency in abdominal, DVT, and ectopic imaging.

Experience with Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound equipment is preferred. The position involves working across a busy imaging network with flexibility for varying shifts and rotation schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
• RDMS and RVT certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Proficiency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, and R/O Ectopic imaging.
• Experience with Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Imaging department includes multiple hospital rooms and supports 17 radiologists.
• Most assignments work alongside other sonographers at the same location.
• Caseload and bench assignment vary by location.
• Core cases include general abdominal, R/O DVT, and R/O Ectopic studies.
• Some rotations may include OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, prostate imaging and invasive procedure support.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
• RDMS and RVT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, and R/O Ectopic imaging
• Experience with Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Imaging department includes 3 hospital procedure rooms, 1 ED, and 4 rooms in the imaging area, supporting 17 radiologists
• Most assignments work alongside other sonographers at the same location
• Caseload and bench assignment vary by location
• Core cases include general abdominal, R/O DVT, and R/O Ectopic studies
• Some rotations may include limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate studies, as well as support for invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages
• Uses Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units
• Shifts vary based on location
• Additional competencies in vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, prostate imaging, and invasive procedure support are a significant value-add
• Scrubs or labcoat required in black, teal, or white
