American Traveler seeks an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for general ultrasound covering adult, ER, and obstetrics patients.

Requirements include IA license in-hand, Allscripts/Altera charting experience, and OB/GYN imaging capabilities across all trimesters. Travel and local options with comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• ARDMS certification required, OB/GYN preferred.
• IA license or compact IA license in-hand at time of consideration.
• 2 professional references within 3 years of start date.
• OB/GYN imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester studies.
• General ultrasound imaging of abdomen, biliary, liver, pancreas, spleen.
• Vascular imaging including aorta, carotid, Doppler (preferred).
• Renal/pelvis imaging including transvaginal studies.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist role covering adult, ED, and obstetrics patients.
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.
• No weekends, no call or float requirements.
• 13-week assignment length; first-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate; staff may travel after 6 months.

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years experience and ARDMS certification for a general ultrasound role covering adult, ER, and obstetrics patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• ARDMS certification required, ARDMS OB/GYN preferred
• Allscripts charting experience required
• Altera charting experience preferred
• Experience in adult, ER, and obstetrics ultrasound settings required
• IA license or compact license required in-hand at time of consideration (6-8 week turnaround for IA license); license required if applicable
• At least 2 professional references within 3 years of start date
• Skills in OB/GYN imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester studies, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and nuchal translucency screening
• Experience with general ultrasound imaging including abdominal, biliary, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and spleen studies
• Vascular ultrasound skills including aorta, carotid, and Doppler studies preferred
• Experience with renal/pelvis imaging including bladder, ovaries, uterus, and transvaginal studies

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist role covering adult, Emergency Department, and Obstetrics patient populations
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts unless part of scheduled hours
• No call or float requirements
• 13-week assignment length
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Perm staff may return as travelers after 6 months of separation
• No RTO permitted during the first week of contract
• No pass/fail orientation testing or pre-hire modules required
• Required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• Non-billable orientation modules (4 hours) completed prior to start
