Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in Colorado with 2+ years in vascular and general diagnostic sonography and RVT certification for a 13-week assignment.

Expect 12-hour shifts (Mon-Thu 7:30 PM–6:00 AM or Fri-Sun 7:00 PM–7:30 AM), weekend and on-call coverage, and assignment to a nearby freestanding ER. Local candidates may be paid traveler rates; employment rules for return travelers are specified.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of vascular sonography experience.
• Minimum 2 years of general diagnostic sonography experience.
• RVT certification through ARDMS is required.
• License is required if applicable.
• Proficient in vascular and general registered sonography exams.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts.
• Shift options: Mon-Thu 7:30 PM–6:00 AM or Fri-Sun 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• Weekend coverage required.
• On-call hours required.
• Coverage at a new freestanding ER located ~3 miles from main facility.
• Must perform most ultrasound exams excluding echo.
• Overtime must be pre-approved.
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) or approved declination required.
• Accepts local candidates at traveler rate; no radius rule.
• Permanent employees must be separated 90 days before returning as traveler.
