Job summary

FiberTel, LLC is hiring a Travel Project Manager for our PNW location. This travel role covers OR, WA, and ID, managing maintenance and construction projects for telecommunications and directing project activities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred), experience with telecom providers, and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project. Willingness to travel full-time is required; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience working with telecommunication providers in the Bay Area.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and applicable Engineering programs.
• Must be okay with full-time travel.
• Good written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions and additions to contractual agreements with engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities related to construction or maintenance of structures.
