Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements the age-specific plan of care and provides thorough shift reports.
• Maintains a sterile field and aseptic technique during procedures and handles instrument processing.
• Assists with room turnover, equipment hookup, and supply management for surgeries.
• Counts sponges and instruments with the RN and addresses any discrepancies.
