Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Local or Travel Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will prepare the OR, pass instruments, and assist surgeons and nurses to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

The role requires on-call availability, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and adherence to infection-control standards. Housing stipend, travel reimbursement, and professional development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments.
• Commitment to infection control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room for procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and sponges.
• Set up and operate surgical equipment under supervision.
• Prepare patients for surgery and ensure proper draping and positioning.
• Maintain sterile field and anticipate team needs during procedures.
• Assist with patient transport and positioning within the OR.
