Sweetwater Care is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support OR teams as a Local or Travel CST. You will help prepare the OR, pass instruments, and maintain sterile conditions across diverse surgical settings.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced OR environments.
• Compassion, teamwork and strong attention to sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room (OR) for procedures and ensure sterile setup.
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Set up and operate surgical equipment under licensed supervision.
• Position patients and ensure safety during procedures.
• Assist with patient transport and OR workflow optimization.
• Handle and dispose of specimens and biohazardous materials per guidelines.
• Sterilize, disinfect and maintain instruments and equipment.
