Job summary

American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital operating room position requiring total joint replacement and endoscopy experience.

The role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 40-hour guarantee. The candidate must be willing to float to nearby facilities and reside over 50 miles away, with a personal vehicle and permanent address in the profile.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CST experience.
• Preceptor experience required.
• Total Joint Replacement experience required.
• Endoscopy experience required.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• One supervisory reference from the past two years.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Hospital OR setting in a teaching hospital with multiple specialties.
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (40 hours/week).
• No on-call, though holiday coverage may be required.
• May float to additional facilities (Crane and Endoscopy) approx. 21 miles away.
• Work in Endoscopy a few times per week in addition to OR duties.
• Residence requirement: must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must have a personal vehicle; permanent address in candidate profile.
