Job summary

Newsandtribune invites a Certified Surgical Technologist to join an acute care Operating Room assignment in Jamestown, ND. The role requires ND UAP licensure and NBSTSA CST certification, with duty hours 7:00am–3:30pm on weekdays. On-call coverage includes one night weekly and some weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include assisting the RN circulator, instrument passing, and patient transfer, with EPIC EMR and Omnicell usage. Local candidates and first-time travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

Must have NBSTSA CST certification.
ND UAP licensure and registration required.
BLS certification (AHA) is required.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist RN circulator with instrument passing, medication ordering, and restocking.
Assist with patient transfer to and from the OR and room cleanup.
Support 3-OR acute care unit operations.
Operate within EPIC EMR and Omnicell systems.
Work Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm.
On-call one night per week and two weekends per month plus rotating holidays.

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an acute care Operating Room assignment requiring ND UAP licensure and NBSTSA certification.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience required
BLS certification (AHA)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA required
ND UAP with National Certification/registration required
Must have temporary license in hand prior to starting orientation
License required if applicable
EPIC EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

Acute care Operating Room unit with 3 OR suites
Assists RN circulator with instrument passing, medication ordering, and restocking
Assists with patient transfer to and from the OR suite and room cleanup
EPIC EMR and Omnicell medication system used
Monday through Friday day shift, 7:00am-3:30pm
On-call one night per week and two weekends per month plus rotating holidays
Limited availability for time off around the holidays and no holiday call for this assignment start
Dress code/scrubs provided
1-2 weeks of unit-specific training and orientation provided
8 hours of orientation prior to assignment start
Required training modules must be completed before starting
Local candidates will be accepted
