Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an acute care OR position in North Dakota. The role requires BLS, CST certification via NBSTSA, and ND UAP licensure, with the opportunity for clinical orientation and training.

The candidate will work in an acute care OR with 3 suites, Monday–Friday days (7am–3:30pm), with on-call responsibilities and rotating holidays. EPIC EMR and Omnicell will be used on site, and housing and travel reimbursements are part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in surgical tech.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• CST credential via NBSTSA required.
• ND UAP license required (including temporary license).
• National certification/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Work in acute care OR with 3 OR suites.
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.
• On-call: 1 night weekly and 2 weekends per month.
• Rotate holidays as needed.
• Support RN circulator; prepare and pass instruments.

Responsibilities

• Acute care operating room setting with 3 OR suites
• Monday through Friday day shift, 7am-3:30pm
• On-call required one night per week and two weekends per month
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Uses EPIC EMR and Omnicell medication system
• Assist with transferring patients to and from the OR suite
• Assist with room cleanup and restocking of medications
• Support the RN circulator and prepare and pass surgical instruments
• Required modules must be completed prior to starting the assignment
• 1-2 weeks of unit-specific training and orientation provided
• Limited availability for time off around the holidays
• Scrubs/dress code provided
• Local candidates accepted
