Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR assignment in the Atlanta metro area. The role requires at least 18 months of OR experience including orthopedic, total joints, scopes, and neuro procedures. GA or Compact license active is required where applicable.

Work a 4x10 day shift (0630-1700) with on-call duties and a 13-week assignment. Candidates must live more than 50 miles away unless a waiver is granted; Emory/Houston Perm staff separation rules may apply.

• Minimum 18 months of experience required, with strong background in ortho, total joints, scopes, and neuro procedures
• License required if applicable
• Active Georgia or Compact license required in hand if applicable

Responsibilities

• Hospital OR setting with rotating case types including orthopedic, total joints, scopes, and neuro procedures
• 4x10 shift schedule, 40 hours per week, day shift from 0630-1700
• On-call requirements apply
• 13-week assignment length
• Support surgical procedures by preparing instruments, supplies, and maintaining sterile fields
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted unless a radius rule waiver is noted
• Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days when it does; only one holiday request is allowed and RTO must be spread out during holiday periods
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
