Job summary

American Traveler seeks an experienced Surgical Technician for a CVOR position focusing on cardiac and vascular surgery in a high-acuity OR environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of surgical experience, BLS, CST or RN license if applicable, and the ability to work 3x12-hour AM shifts with potential on-call, weekends, and holidays.

You will join a large multi-OR facility and support a dedicated surgical team while meeting references requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
• CST certification or RN license required if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Experienced in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures.
• Additional total joint or neuro/spine experience required unless specific cardiac/vascular OR experience is present.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Surgery unit within a 24-OR facility
• Cardiac and vascular surgical case population
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Possible on-call requirements
• Possible one weekend per month and possible holiday coverage
• Support cardiac and vascular surgical procedures within a high-acuity OR environment
• Work alongside a specialized surgical team in a large multi-OR facility
• Two professional references required for consideration
