Job summary

American Traveler in Rockford, IL seeks a Certified CVOR Tech with at least 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience for a hospital OR assignment.

Position requires scrubbing proficiency, ability to work 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM), and rotating call coverage. Travel considerations and lodging are provided per diems and reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular OR or similar surgical setting experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must be able to scrub cardiovascular/heart team cases independently.
• License required if applicable.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Hospital operating room setting focused on cardiovascular/heart team cases.
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, running 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Rotational call coverage required, approximately one call shift per week, which may include a Saturday or Sunday (not both), with 24-hour call on weekends.
• Scrub independently on cardiovascular and heart team surgical cases
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as accepted — confirm eligibility with your recruiter
