Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist diploma or certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a 13-bed OR unit with 1:1 patient ratios.
• Support CVOR adult patients, minimal pediatric cases.
• Utilize Robotics (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table equipment.
• Work with Cerner EMR system.
• Schedule: 4x10h shifts, 6:45 AM–4:45 PM.
• On weekends: every other weekend and on-call duties.
• Travelers start on designated bi-weekly orientation dates.
• Facility includes Duke Lifepoint Hospital with diverse centers and Level 3 NICU.

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment at a hospital operating room using Robotics, Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table equipment.

Requirements

• Surgical Technologist diploma or certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech across multiple specialties
• Ortho or Neuro experience preferred
• AHA certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Active Nursys/licensure required at time of consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit with 13 beds and 1:1 patient ratios
• CVOR specialty supporting adult patients with minimal pediatric outpatient cases
• Uses Robotics (Davinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table equipment
• Cerner EMR utilized
• Schedule consists of 4x10hr shifts, 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM
• Every other weekend required, with on-call duties only on weekends
• Call requirement of 7 days per month, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• No floating required
• Facility is a Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 355 beds, home to specialty centers including Brain, Cancer, Heart, Lung, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, and Women's Center, plus a Level 3 NICU
• No scrub color requirement as the facility provides a scrub machine
• Outside attire not laundered by the hospital is not permitted
• Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked perm staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Travelers must start on one of the designated bi-weekly orientation dates
