Responsibilities

Level I trauma center Main OR with 21 suites across surgical specialties.
Ortho (joints, spine), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN cases.
Neuro/ENT/Robotics experience preferred.
3x12 hour day shifts, 6:30A–7:00P, with holiday rotation.
Up to 1 weekend shift per 4 weeks.
On-call up to 4 shifts per 4 weeks.
Float within scope between units and sister facilities.
EPIC charting system used.
Magnet designated department with 75% RNs and 25% CSTs.
Work in a busy nurse-driven department with cutting-edge surgical tech.
Scrubs provided by facility.
Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital with 820 beds.
Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval.
Local candidates accepted and considered case-by-case.
During hurricane season staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Minimum of 2 years of experience required

Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
Highly preferred experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) cases
3x12 hour day shifts, 6:30A-7:00P, with holiday rotation
Up to 1 weekend shift per 4 week schedule period
On-call requirement of up to 4 call shifts per 4 week schedule period
Float within scope required to meet facility needs, including between like units and sister facilities
EPIC charting system used
