American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of OR experience for a busy acute care hospital operating room. The role features day shifts, a 12-hour schedule, and a set routine with an option to block blocks.

The candidate must hold CST credentials and BLS, with active licensure and a Colorado license if applicable. Responsibilities include support across General, Neuro, and Robotics cases, EPIC EMR use, and consistent on-site sleep facilities for calls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of surgical technology experience in an OR.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• CST credential via NBSTSA.
• Experience in General, Neuro, and Robotics cases.
• Colorado DORA license required if applicable.
• Active state licensure; pending licenses not accepted.
• Driver's license copy required.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital OR with 16 suites and ~30 cases per day.
• Cases include General, Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, Urology, ENT.
• 12-hour day shifts 6:30am–7pm; set schedule with blocking option.
• Approximately 120 hours of call per contract; self-scheduled.
• One weekend call every 6 weeks; holiday call optional.
• Call response within 30 minutes; on-site sleep room available.
• No routine floating; possible Zone 1 float in extreme circumstances.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Support procedures across General, Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, Urology, ENT.
• Scrubs provided by facility.
• One week orientation: unit-specific + 12 hours general.
• In-state residency for orientation; some modules may be remote.
• Candidates reside at least 60 miles from facility for travel positions.
• Two professional references: supervisor (last 12 mo) and peer/supervisor (last 3 yrs).
