American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years in Level II trauma OR in a hospital surgical services setting. The role spans vascular, neuro, urology, robotics and trauma across multiple service lines. 13-week assignment with day shifts and on-call coverage; Epic charting used; scrubs provided.

Ambulatory OR and community hospital experience is a plus; CST and BLS certifications are required to qualify. Local candidates and travelers welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Operating Room Surgical Tech experience required.
• Level II trauma experience required; general OR and trauma experience mandatory.
• Ambulatory OR and community hospital experience preferred.
• CST and BLS certifications required.
• Vascular, neuro, podiatry, uro, robotic and trauma procedures experience expected.
• Experience with case carts, crash carts, electrosurgical units and fiber-optic equipment.
• Aseptic technique and sterile-field practices essential; laser/radiation safety knowledge helpful.
• Universal Protocol/time-out, wound care and specimen handling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with an 8-room OR serving adult and geriatric patients.
• 13-week assignment with day shift hours (8-hour shifts, approx 11:00am-7:30pm).
• Block scheduling accommodated; on-call coverage required.
• Epic charting system used; scrubs provided by facility.
• First-time travelers accepted; orientation ~8 hours.
• Supports a broad range of service lines including vascular, neuro, urology, robotics and trauma.
