Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Peoria, IL seeks a travel RN for the PCU. The role advances patients from intensive care with telemetry monitoring and specialized cardiac care.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care during a 15-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate has 1+ year Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle.
