Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Davenport, IA. The nurse will care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with telemetry monitoring and dedicated cardiac care.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of stepdown experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this travel opportunity, supported by a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred
• NIHSS Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments, focusing on cardiac care.
• Assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Ensures safety and comfort of telemetry patients and documents findings.
• Collaborates with the care team to provide comprehensive telemetry care.
