Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Melbourne, FL. You will provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused interventions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data and interprets cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patients and client.
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
