Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. You will provide care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general units, with focus on cardiac monitoring and telemetry.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
