Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in Florida (state regulations).
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and cardiac rhythms; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes; collaborates with the team.
• Documents nursing history and assessments; communicates patient status to the team.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality; adheres to protocols and safety guidelines.
