Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Oregon, OH. You will provide telemetry-focused care to patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, with PCCN and NIHSS preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred
• NIHSS Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data and rhythms to detect abnormalities and respond promptly
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with emphasis on cardiac care
• Assists physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors
