Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Saint Charles, MO. You will provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, monitor telemetry, administer meds, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, active MO RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and comprehensive insurance accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with cardiac focus.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
