Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. You will provide high-level care for patients transitioning from ICU to general units, with emphasis on cardiac monitoring and interventions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
