Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 12-week travel assignment in Alexandria, VA. You will provide comprehensive care to patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with strong emphasis on telemetry monitoring and cardiac interventions.

Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred.
- NIHSS Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
- Prepares equipment and assists during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
- Maintains patient comfort and safety while monitoring telemetry patients.
- Documents nursing history and assessment for telemetry patients.
- Initiates patient education focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
