Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 20-week travel assignment in Lynchburg, VA. The role focuses on telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe patient-centered care.

The position requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel-friendly benefits and a competitive pay package are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
