Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Lone Tree, CO. You will provide focused cardiac telemetry care, monitor rhythms, administer therapies, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to support patient transitions from ICU to stepdown units.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data, and responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
