Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Beaufort, SC. You will join a dedicated clinical team and provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical–surgical units.

The role emphasizes telemetry monitoring, cardiac-focused assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license with state compliance.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN/NIHSS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and cardiac treatments per protocol.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document patient status and communicate with supervisors.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
