Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
- Prepares equipment and aids during cardiac-related procedures.
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
- Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
- Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
