Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Saint Louis, MO. The role focuses on monitoring, nursing interventions, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered support for patients transitioning from ICU to general units.

The candidate will perform essential telemetry monitoring, administer cardiac-focused care, and participate in education plans while adhering to protocols and safety standards. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians in cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
