Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Apache Junction, AZ. As a member of our team, you will care for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Requirements include one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification and NIHSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains safety and comfort of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments and notifies physicians of changes.
