Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Oregon, OH. The role involves caring for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of stepdown experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and access to a supportive clinical team.

Competenze

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Mansioni

• Monitors cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data and responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments focusing on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients
• Observes, documents conditions, and notifies team of patient status
• Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
• Maintains patient confidentiality and safety
• Performs other duties within scope of practice
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
