Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Jackson, TN. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team dedicated to patient care.

The role involves monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. A valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required; PCCN/ NIHSS are pluses.

Qualificações

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification (preferred).
• NIHSS Certification (preferred).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Observes patient conditions and notifies supervisor/physician as needed.
• Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintains patient and client confidentiality.
• Performs other duties within scope of practice.
• Adheres to hospital safety and infection control guidelines.
