Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tulsa, OK. As a member of our team, you'll impact patient lives while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients transitioning from ICU, with frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. You will assess and manage complex needs, administer medications, and collaborate with the team to

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry data, vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
Document nursing assessments and patient responses to interventions.
Respond to life-threatening situations per cardiac protocols.
Educate patients on cardiac health, risks and lifestyle changes.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
