Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Clara, CA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse ages, working with a dedicated clinical team to deliver individualized therapy plans.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly in the EMR, and follow infection control protocols while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in CA.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience preferred but new grads welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design and implement personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress accurately in the EMR and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home programs; provide counseling as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during treatments.
• Engage in quality improvement and professional development activities.
