Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing - Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in Henrico, Virginia. The role requires evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse ages, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

The SLP will design individualized therapy plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while ensuring documentation in the EMR and adherence to infection control

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations.
• Design individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain infection control and comply with regulatory standards.
