Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role covers evaluating and treating patients in various settings, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts. Start date is ASAP, providing a travel opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

You will work with a dedicated clinical team, ensure documentation accuracy, and contribute to patient care quality while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in compliance with state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• For preferred qualifications: CCC-SLP and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Document progress and maintain EMR with accurate notes.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology

S licenciature (state licensure) for VA or applicable state
