Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Henrico, Virginia. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, delivering individualized therapy and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires current SLP licensure in the state, and a valid BLS certification. Preference given to candidates with CCC-SLP and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred; CCC-SLP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
