Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Ada, OK. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across age groups, designing individualized therapy plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold a valid SLP license and current BLS; preferred credentials include CCC-SLP and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Utilize standardized assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in speech language therapy.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
