Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Vernon, OH. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations in a facility setting.

The role requires state licensure and current BLS certification; CCC-SLP is preferred. Benefits are competitive, with support from a dedicated clinical team throughout the travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master's Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology and CCC-SLP preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings
• Maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and caregivers on home-based strategies and safe swallowing practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions
