Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our home-based care team in Louisiana. You’ll evaluate and treat patients in their homes, develop plans of care, document progress, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, an active SLP license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience. Travel up to 50% within the branch area is expected, with a dependable vehicle and valid license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited educational program in Language Pathology.
• Current, unrestricted SLP license in the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a SLP in a clinical care setting.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Must be able and willing to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the Speech-Language pathologist patient to determine the rehabilitation needs and develops a plan of care.
• Admits the patient and assesses speech-language therapy according to regulatory guidelines.
• Performs direct Speech-Language pathology services in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
